The Extension de la Racine story

Introduced in 2013, L’Atelier Extesion De La Racine means “the workshop’s extension of the root.” It began as a yearly limited release and is now released less often. They are comprised of Nicaraguan fillers, Sancti Spiritus double binder, and a Criollo wrapper. They are made in Nicaragua and come packaged in varnished slide lid boxes of 20. They are generally limited to a one-time production of approximately 30,000 cigars each year. CigarShare users' verdict

The Extension de la Racine delivers a straightforward pepper-forward smoke with supporting notes of cedar, nuts, and subtle hay that provide a woody foundation, though vegetal undertones occasionally surface. Construction is generally reliable with mostly even burns and consistent draw, though some sessions exhibit unevenness and the overall flavor profile lacks complexity and refinement.
