Yet handmade with the tobaccos grown in Nicaragua, Sencillo Black has a distinctive flavor all its own. If Sencillo Platinum is the pinot noir of the line, Sencillo Black is the cabernet.

Sencillo Black delivers toasted, woody flavors with occasional notes of sandalwood, cream, and coffee that lean toward the vegetal and earthy side of the spectrum. While construction remains consistently even-burning, the flavor profile comes across as somewhat one-dimensional and lacks the complexity that would elevate the smoking experience.
