The 7th Sam story

The Surrogates line was originally released in 2011 as an exclusive of New Havana Cigars (NHC) with the Bone Crusher and the Skull Breaker. However, the line was transferred to L’Atelier for full distribution to the public in 2012. The original NHC Surrogates cigars contained the letters NHC on the bands. All of the cigars are produced in Nicaragua. Each cigar features its own special blend. They come with two black bands (except the Cracker Crumbs). The standard bands are black, one stating surrogates in white letters and the other with the name and symbol of the particular cigar. The name of each cigar is supposed to be an inside joke between the members of L’Atelier as well as an unconfirmed homage to another cigar company. The cigars feature Nicaraguan binders and fillers and are sold in slide lid boxes of 20, excluding the Cracker Crumbs which are sold in five count paper packs.
CigarShare users' verdict

The 7th Sam presents a straightforward profile dominated by wood and peppery spice notes with supporting layers of cream, exotic sweetness, and earth that lack complexity and engagement. Construction is reliable with mostly effortless draws and reasonably consistent burns, though the overall experience tends toward the unremarkable.
